Instagram’s Live Color feature has become a staple on its social network.
The feature allows users to add more colors to the images they post.
But the company has yet to offer any details on how Live Color will be used.
Now a Facebook user has taken to Instagram’s Facebook Live page to ask the social media giant about the feature, which was announced this week.
The user posted a screenshot of a post with the caption, “I was wondering if this feature was live, and if anyone had any info on it.
A representative for Instagram did not immediately respond to Mashable’s request for comment.
According to Instagram, Live Color can add more than just a simple blue or yellow color to an image.
It can also add a range of colors, such as green, yellow, purple, pink, blue, red, and green-blue.
“There are many more possibilities, but we’re always looking for more ideas,” Instagram wrote in a statement.
Live Color has been available for users to download on Android and iOS since March, but it was only recently made available on Instagram’s desktop platform.
The service is still available on the desktop, and users can download a Live Color app from the app store.
The Instagram Live Color functionality has been rolled out to users across the globe.
The company previously announced plans to expand the feature across other platforms, including mobile and desktop.
