The White House is approving a controversial hair color ban that is aimed at preventing children from wearing hair dye, newsmax and tvnewser reported.
The administration on Thursday also approved the ban on prescription drug coverage.
The new policy allows people over the age of 18 to use only one prescription drug for every two doses of hair dye.
It also allows those under 18 to purchase only one hair dye per week, according to the White House website.
Trump signed the ban in late April, and it has become a flashpoint in the ongoing fight over his proposed ban on Muslims entering the U.S. The president, who was born in Hawaii, has called for the ban to be halted, but critics say it is unnecessary, discriminatory and unconstitutional.
